Been in the trade now for 36 years since leaving school and went on to complete my city and guilds craft certificate and advanced craft certificate . Have now worked for myself for 12 years now and been a Dulux selected decorator coming up to my 11thyear in July . I strive to give my customers the end product they expect as well as at all times being approachable and friendly so any problems that can arise during projects can be corrected and customers expectations are met . In 2016 I had the great honour in being a category winner in the Dulux select decorator of the year competition which gave me more confidence to actually believe I’m pretty good at what I do instead of all my customers saying it . On all jobs I undertake and where possible all materials I provide come under the AKZO Nobel manufactured umbrella so a 2year work and material guarantee under written by AKZO Nobel / Dulux trade can be submitted to the customer on completion of the work . All sanding is done virtually dust free and I use water based paints mainly on internal work which are quick drying , odour free and better for the environment . Very good standard of prep work + good understanding of problem previous decorator had with the same job. Very difficult pattern to deal with but did a good job, very friendly, conscientious + reliable.
