I have been in the decorating trade for over 45 years. Initially working for the local authority before moving to self employment in 1988.
Originally just general decorating the company has branched out over the recent years into high quality internal spraying. Including the spraying and hand finishing of new and old kitchen and bedroom cabinets.
As a business we moved over to environmentally friendly water based finishes many years ago almost eliminating using oil based products apart from adhesion primers. These products are much improved and can offer the finish and durability of traditional finished coupled with low odour and less disruption as work is being carried out.
I have written a couple of articles for the Traditional Painter website over the years regarding the application, and benefits of such products in UK homes.
We do still offer the a high quality painting and decorating service alongside our kitchen refurbishments as well composite coving installs, wallpapering and the odd exterior.
